Hello from whynotstories! 😊
A few years ago I hadn’t heard of Lombok, and Bali wasn’t even on my wish list. Then tragedy struck and my life was changed forever. Now I’m living a new chapter of my life here.
One thing that didn’t change was my love of writing and my dream to write something special one day. This page is a step on that journey.
These are my blogs, stories, jumbles of words and poems about simply living – and starting a business – on a tiny tropical island paradise off the coast of Lombok in Indonesia.
And some reflections on the journey that got me here.
I started this writing adventure by posting to my family and friends’ group on Facebook. Today (7 March 2017) I transferred across all the old ‘bloggies’. Future posts and blogs will come onto this page, and I gratefully welcome you along!
